(January 19, 2011) - XPLORE Adventure Series, a specialty vehicle program dedicated to supporting our National Parks, is pleased to announce its program debut at Toyota of Escondido in San Diego County. The dealership will be the first to offer XPLORE packages for Toyota FJ vehicles.
XPLORE Adventure Series vehicles are available in four packages that feature increasing levels of equipment and capability, ranging from wheel and tire upgrades to fully equipped expedition-worthy versions. The Stage Four XPLORE FJ Cruiser on display at Toyota of Escondido will be auctioned off for charity with the net proceeds donated to the National Park Foundation. It features an impressive list of components and systems for ARB including a roof-top tent, snorkel, rock rails, locking differential, suspension, lighting, super heavy-duty bumpers and even an on-board refrigerator. Other upgrades include a special leather and suede XPLORE interior, performance exhaust system, B.F. Goodrich Off-road T/A tires, XPLORE special issue aluminum wheels, and special edition badges inside and out.
The XPLORE Program supports the National Park Foundation by donating a portion of the proceeds from each vehicle sold to the NPF and by creating awareness to encourage families and enthusiasts to get out and explore their national parks. Each XPLORE vehicle comes with a one-year Annual Pass to over 394 National Parks and Monuments. New owners receive a one-year subscription to XPLORE QUARTERLY; a family-themed, high-quality outdoor lifestyle journal featuring amazing places to go, fun things to do and interesting people.
Stage One XPLORE Adventure Series are available for most makes and models including hybrids, wagons, minivans and trucks and will be available at participating new car dealers nationwide. XPLORE Stage Two through Four versions are for select brands and models only.
