Its sturdy vehicle infrastructure is composed of coil-spring double-wishbone front suspension, leaf spring rear suspension with staggered outboard-mounted gas shock absorbers and one-piece frame rails. To accommodate a variety of cargo types, its pickup bed is made from fiber-reinforced sheet-molded composite material, along with steel outer panels and extra storage compartments.
